The Fabulous Village or the Legend of the Flottins

December 16, 2023 - January 7, 2024....Every winter, Flottins and Flottines inhabit a sculptural village made of driftwood, which the waters of Lake Geneva deposit on the shores of Evian. Their hospitality is legendary, and Santa Claus himself spends several days among them. The village opens its doors to young and old alike for storytelling, workshops and treats to share... La Toupine theater is the driving force behind this fabulous project, and this tenth edition extends throughout the town center, with over 150 tons of driftwood, 500 sculptures, 22 storytellers, musicians, actors, circus performers and sculptors in attendance.
4 highlights: the opening of the village in early December, Santa's arrival, Santa's departure and the departure of the Flottins.

10:30 am: Guided tour of Evian
Accompanied by a heritage guide, discover the history of Evian from the Middle Ages to the Belle Epoque. Anecdotes and hidden treasures will be revealed.

12:15 pm: Lunch in an Evian restaurant
Menu with 1/4 wine and coffee
